Before I got this pair of shoes, I had never owned a pair of casual leather shoes that had the sole of a tennis shoe. Crazy idea for a boring old guy like me, but the style works! My friends suddenly think I'm a fashion dude.As for the shoe's fit: The length of the shoe fits exactly according to the measurement / sizing chart, so no problem there. I'm more concerned with the width of the shoe where your big toe's joint is. It's really snug there, almost as if the designers wanted to make the toe more narrow to look more svelte.I don't have a wide foot at all, nor do I have bunions, so I'm wondering if it's a design flaw. I'm not sure if I will wear these as my everyday shoes. Since receiving these shoes, I've worn them for a total of five days. I'm hoping that the toe region will loosen up as the shoes get more broken in. But I can't help but wonder if folks with wider feet would be able to put on this shoe at all...
